In this series, the text consists of relatively simple sentences, but the vocabulary and ideas are quite advanced. Some of the full color graphics, detailed photographs, and drawings show microscopic details. Because of the detailed graphics and descriptive text, difficult ideas can be understood by the reader. Besides captions explaining the graphics, there are inset boxes with bulleted "Fast Facts" and "Did You Know" boxes. These books are especially useful for research papers and projects. They are also very useful for students who are curious about a special topic and want to know about it in depth. Bibliography. Glossary. Websites. Index. Recommended.
